Prior to founding On Demand Interpretation Services (ODIS), Colleen O'Toole served on the Eleventh District Court of Appeals from 2005 to 2011 and was a member of the Ohio Judges Association and the Ohio Court of Appeals Judicial Association. She was also appointed by the Chief Justice to sit as a visiting judge on the Supreme Court of Ohio.
During her term of service, Colleen O'Toole has been active in the Ohio Judicial Conference, serving on several standing committees including Community Corrections, Court Administration, Court Technology and Criminal Law & Procedure. She was appointed by the Chief Justice to serve on the Ohio Criminal sentencing commission and still serves that commission in an advisory capacity. She also served as a member of the subcommittee for Court Reporting and Transcripts. She was an integral member of these committees and assisted in drafting various recommendations that were adopted in the legislative platform of the conference.
Colleen O'Toole testified before both the House and Senate subcommittees on the positions of the Ohio Judicial Conference and participated in many legislative conferences with members of the General Assembly from both sides of the aisle regarding an array of issues involving the legal system. She is a trained mediator, having completing the course of instruction offered by The Ohio Commission on dispute resolution and conflict management. She was a member of Library of Reasoned Orders Committee and is a member of the Criminal Law Committee for the Ohio State Bar Association. Prior to taking the bench she ran a successful law practice and was in underwriting and claims management for Progressive companies. She was also a litigation manager for National Interstate company, managing litigation and outside counsel in 27 states. She consulted, advocated and advised on a myriad of political and issue campaigns at the state and local level. She is a graduate of the Jo Ann Davidson Leadership Institute.
Peter is a career professional with more than 30 years of experience in the process automation industry. Prior to joining On Demand Interpretation Services, Lui gained the bulk of his experience with ABB Inc., a global provider of engineered solutions and technologies. At ABB Inc., Lui held management and technology positions in product marketing, product line development and management, and international business operations.
Soon after graduation, Lui accepted a position as a product development engineer with Bailey Controls Company, the predecessor of ABB Inc. As the Bailey Controls products evolved, Peter's career track progressed to the international business arena. He worked with the global affiliate companies in establishing indigenous expertise and resources in product engineering and project management. He was often called on to assist in many aspects of sales efforts to major clients in targeted industries. A native of China, Lui is fluent in Chinese and earned his BS in Enginerring from the Case Institute of Technology in Cleveland, Ohio.
Clinton Kertcher is responsible for business development and communication services at TechnologyXperts, Inc. (TXI). Mr. Kertcher's primary focus is the overall management of TXI's growth and leading business development initiatives that are consistent with the overall strategy. With over 10 years in the IT industry, he has held a variety of roles including technical services, sales, human resources and management with national and international companies. Mr. Kertcher received his B.A. in Business Management and Psychology from John Carroll University and an M.B.A from Cleveland State University.
Gary comes to ODIS with a wealth of corporate accounting experience with Joann stores Inc, Enprotec Inc., British Petroleum and Lubrizol. His skills and experience include C.P.A. Management, Supervision Auditing and Controller. He holds his M.B.A in Finance and Management from Cleveland State University.
